STUB LENGTH DRILLS

Stub length twist drills utilize the same basic construction as our standard jobber length drills. Its shorter length and heavy duty design make it a very sturdy and rigid tool. These tools are designed for production drilling of cast iron, non-ferrous metals, composites, plastics and non-metals. It is an excellent starting drill and is often used for exact location drilling of shallow holes in CNC equipment. This style of drill is not normally recommended for drilling steels.
