New Site's Powerful Information Mirrors Tool Quality

IMCO Announces Enhanced Website with Key Product Specs, Technical Information, and Link to Customer Service

PERRYSBURG, Ohio – June 2, 2008 – IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. injects power and performance into everything they touch. So why should the content and functionality of their newly enhanced Web site be any different? Introducing the newest and quite possibly the most powerful IMCO tool – www.imcousa.com

Existing customers will notice a difference immediately as bold graphics and rich product photography explode onto the page. With a simple, logical navigational tree, users will find it easier to rapidly locate product information through interactive keyword and specific model number searches using the online catalog's enhanced functionality. Potential customers will be enticed by easy to find information regarding IMCO's product benefits, advantages and company history. The ability to peruse the electronic tool catalog without waiting for a printed copy will please those who are anxious to learn specifics before their copy arrives in the mail or even those who are doing their part to keep the environment "green."

Specific features that will motivate visitors to add the site to their list of "favorites" include: powerful product search capabilities, accurate material and usage information and user-friendly functionality to quickly get in touch with customer service through phone, fax, mailing information and online contact forms. In all cases, the new site reinforces IMCO's commitment to quality and customer service.

"As the final piece that supports our re-branded company image, we are pleased to launch a site which truly mirrors the commitment to customer service that existing IMCO customers know and respect," comments Perry Osburn, President and CEO of IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. "The site will also position IMCO as an invaluable resource for potential customers. Our goal is to help keep an operation efficient and productive, which starts with the use of our site. In today's world, an online presence is a great place to start building or even sustain a business relationship."

The site is built with an underlying structure that will support IMCO's future web-related needs. Sheroian Associates, Inc. (IMCO's Agency of Record, www.sheroian.com) crafted the look and feel of the site's redesign effort, teaming up with Magnate Interactive (Toledo, Ohio, www.magnateinteractive.com) for implementation of the functionality. IMCO's site was custom-built to specification using Microsoft .NET 2.0 (specifically the C# language) and SQL Server 2005 for the backend. And the front end was created with web-standards in mind: XHTML, CSS and JavaScript, along with additional progressive enhancements using Flash.

Since 1977, IMCO Carbide Tool Inc. has focused on one goal – to provide manufacturers in a variety of industries with quality products that will help them achieve new levels of profitability, customer satisfaction and a competitive advantage. By revolutionizing the way its tools are designed, produced, tested and used, IMCO strives to meet the ever-changing needs of a technologically diverse customer base. In serving the needs of customers world-wide, IMCO will continue to focus investments on the areas that matter most to the customer – product quality, performance and service.
